In Person: Meetings take place in the Board Room at the School District Administrative Offices, located at 11051 NW SR 20, Bristol, FL.

Virtually: Regular board meetings are also streamed live online via Zoom.

Meet the Board Members

  • Mason Kever joined the Liberty County School Board in November 2024. He is a native of Liberty County, Florida. He graduated Liberty County High School in 2004. He holds a Masters of Business Administration from Georgie College and State University and a Bachelors of Business Administration from The University of Florida.

    Mason currently works in Strategic Planning for Roberts and Roberts, Inc. He previously served as a Deputy Clerk of the Liberty County Clerk of Court and Comptroller, Director of Finance to the Liberty County Board of County Commissioners. Prior experience also includes Banking and Management for Bank of America and Ameris Bank.

    Amongst Mason’s greatest blessings are his family. He married Jennifer Shuler Kever in 2007. She currently serves as the School District’s Mental Health Coordinator. Together they have four children: Ashten, Chace, Maverick and Annorah. All attend schools in the Liberty County School District.

  • Jodi Bailey is a lifelong citizen of Liberty County and attended Liberty County Schools where she graduated in 1987. She began her 30 year career with the State of Florida after graduation; and, retired from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission in 2018 where she was the Chief Operating Officer. She spent her career focusing on public administration overseeing procurement, contracting, budgeting and minority business advocacy. After retiring, she was compelled to continue her work as a public servant and was elected to the Liberty County School Board in 2020. She is dedicated to ensuring the business of the school system is handled in the most efficient and effective way possible.

    Jodi is married to Andy Bailey and has 4 children: Skylar, Candace, Brenton and Hanna. She enjoys hunting, fishing and spending time with her family (especially her grandchildren). 

  • Darrel “Doobie” Hayes is a lifelong resident of Liberty County, graduating high school in 1979. He is employed with the Liberty County Road Department while serving as School Board Member District III since 1993. Married to Kathy James Hayes, together they have a son Jason, his wife Amber and many grandchildren.

    Doobie attends Bristol Christian Church where he is an active Deacon. Hobbies include fishing, hunting, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.

  • Jason Singletary is a lifelong resident of Liberty County and a product of the Liberty County School District. He is retired from Imerys Corporation after 25 years of service and is currently self-employed (3 years) as well as School Board Member District IV.

    Jason is married to Michelle Singletary and they have 2 children, Bailey, and wife Amber Revell Singletary and Tucker Singletary. He enjoys hunting, fishing, attending ball games and spending time with family and friends.

  • Boo Morris is a lifelong citizen of Liberty County and attended the Liberty County School system from K-12 where he graduated in 1993. After graduation, he continued his education at Chipola College and moved on to Tallahassee Community College where he received his AA degree in 1995. After college, he started his career in diesel mechanics with 6 years at SuperValu INC in Quincy Florida. Over the course of the following 19 years, he has moved up to where he is now, he is a Regional Equipment Service Manager for K.L. Breeden & Sons LLC for which he is responsible for several trucking terminals in several states. He works diligently on budgeting, equipment purchasing, contracting, payroll, scheduling, training, management, and leading numerous employees. He was elected to the Liberty County School Board in 2018.

    Boo is married to his 9th grade sweetheart Rhonda Morris and has two children, Chuck and Gabby. He enjoys forging knives, coaching, hunting, and fishing, but most of all, he enjoys spending time with his lovely wife and family.
