Weapon Detection Systems UPDATE (Tolar and LCHS)

Good morning,
This morning, we tested a brand-new weapon detection system at both Tolar and LCHS.  We will test at Hosford School tomorrow.  My sincerest apologies for the huge backup at Tolar this morning.  We closed down the middle school drop off so that all students could pass through the units.  The students and staff did perfectly this morning, but it did take more time for them to get through causing a huge backup.  Tomorrow, Tolar will return to a regular traffic pattern, and everything should return to normal for your morning drop-off and afternoon pickup.  

My apologies for not clearly communicating our procedure today.  We will be testing Hosford tomorrow and that too will be a one-day test.  We will have extra staff to help now that we know what this process looks like.  I appreciate your patience and understanding!
