New School Bus Provided by Legislative Appropriation
I'm so proud to announce the arrival of a new Liberty County 71 passenger School Bus. This bus was provided by a Legislative Appropriation back in 2022. Due to the demand for buses nationwide, it took one year for it to get here. Many thanks to Representative Jason Shoaf and former Senator Loranne Ausley for their sponsorship and support. These allocations for our schools DO NOT happen without support from our representatives in the legislature and does not happen without the support of our wonderful School Board. This was a cost savings of $121,000 to our schools.
